I was born and raised in Gloucester and have lived in the area all my life, apart from my time at university, so I’m a local lad through and through.
I suspect I was a difficult child to be around. I realised early on that I had a talent for argument and debate, which probably didn’t stand me in good stead during my time at school.
Although my particular skillset didn’t win me any prizes for popularity, it did suggest to me that a career in law might be the way to go. Since joining in 2016 as a fresh-faced volunteer hoping to gain experience, I have worked for Davey Law in a variety of roles from Receptionist, to Admin Assistant, to Paralegal, and I am currently training to qualify as a Solicitor.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my training in all the various departments, including Litigation, Private Client, Family and Residential Property, where I have assisted in both a legal and administrative capacity.
When I am not working, I like watching football, rugby and cricket and going to matches. I also enjoy listening to music and attending live performances. Consequently, during Covid restrictions, effectively I have lived the life of a hermit.
