Julie Long

Chartered Legal Executive, CFILEx


Julie Long qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1996. She joined Davey Law in 2011 and works in both the family and the dispute resolution/litigation team in our Gloucester office, although she regularly sees clients in our Cirencester office too.

Julie deals with a wide range of family matters, in particular divorce and dissolution, financial remedies, separation agreements, cohabitee disputes, children matters and pre and post nuptial agreements. Julie has extensive advocacy experience in both the Family Proceedings Court and the County Court.

Julie acts for clients on personal injury, clinical negligence and fatal accident claims. She has a wealth of experience ranging from modest claims to catastrophic injury claims to the value of millions of pounds.

Julie has a great deal of experience in landlord and tenant repossession claims and regularly acts for landlords.

Julie also represents and advises clients on boundary disputes as well as general litigation disputes.

Julie grew up in Gloucestershire and lives locally with her husband, two daughters and a large dog. She enjoys riding her motorbike and walking.
