Scaling new heights with Davey Law

October 2018

It’s not every day you can say you have helped a pair of young rock stars reach new heights! But that’s exactly what we were able to do when we gave these young daredevils the opportunity to test their climbing skills at the Gloucester Warehouse Climbing Centre.

The 13m high climbing wall, three times the height of a double decker bus, proved no obstacle to the fearless pair who were the lucky winners of Davey Law’s raffle prize at this year’s Powell’s Church of England Primary School Summer Fete.

We contributed the climbing prize as part of our ‘Supporting our community’ initiative for 2018, which gives us the opportunity to get involved with and contribute to events and good causes in and around Cirencester and Gloucester, something that Davey Law has done for many years.

“We thought climbing would make a great prize,” said Peter Davies of Davey Law, ‘as it’s a fun activity that increases confidence and encourages an active lifestyle, so we’re really pleased that our winners had a great time.”
